Our Founder has over two decades experience working in the children’s residential sector, at every level. Along with fifteen years experience delivering training to residential teams, foster carers and social care teams, including being a pool facilitator for LSCB. Safety First Social Care works with providers to ensure that they are meeting the holistic needs of children and young people in their care. Physical and psychological safety is at the core of everything we do, understanding that there is a significant difference between being safe and feeling safe. For children and young people who have had adverse childhood experiences, blocked trust can mean feeling safe is something they have never experienced.
